Captain Pragya is an Army Officer, ICF certified PCC Coach, psychological counsellor, senior HR leader & Board of Directors. Over the last twenty-two years of her career, she has worked with Boards, CXOs, senior leaders and teams across Fortune 100 organizations, Armed Forces, Government, Military, NGOs and women entrepreneurs helping them deal with their challenges and realize their true potential.
She started her career with the Indian Army in Corps of Engineers where she led various military operations. After the 6 years stint with Army, she moved into Corporate in Human Resources. Her Corporate Experiences includes working as a Board of Directors, Head HR India & Asia Pacific countries in global IT Product Companies like Keyloop, Progress Software and Volaris. Previously, she worked in HR leadership roles for companies like Infosys, Deloitte & Dr Reddy’s. She has a good understanding of cultures globally having worked with people from US, Canada, India, Asia Pacific countries, Europe & Australia.
She is also the founder of Sapphire Coaching, Training & OD Consultancy. She is a regular speaker on topics like leadership, Career Transformation, Diversity & Inclusion at leading forums like NASSCOM, IIM-jobs, Army establishments and leading B-schools across India. She is also a council member for Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI) National Coaching Council, India. Pragya likes writing about the latest HR trends and regularly contributes to leading HR magazines like People Matters.
Pragya's diverse experience in navigating challenging military environments from being the first lady officer in an Army Regiment, working in corporate leadership positions, and her role as a seasoned leadership coach has cultivated a profound understanding of the human psyche and organizational dynamics, enhancing her ability to coach leaders effectively.
Pragya lives in Toronto, Canada with her husband and son. She is a practitioner of Vipassana meditation, NVC, Positive Psychology and various other mindfulness & stress management practices. She likes working in spaces that encourage authenticity, values-based learning and integration in mind-body-spirit.
