Hi there! I'm Katherine Rivas, a bilingual ICF, HCA, FHT Certified Health and Life Coach with a decade of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I hold a Bachelor's in Psychology from National University and have received the UCLA PEERS® certification, which is a social skills program to help young adults build meaningful relationships, enhance their social communication abilities, and navigate dating etiquette. As a Los Angeles native with a family background deeply rooted in El Salvador, I’m passionate about helping others achieve their goals while embracing cultural diversity and individuality. Additionally, I speak Spanish fluently, allowing me to connect with a broader range of clients.
A Decade of Coaching: Guiding Growth Through Evidence-Based Support
My professional coaching experience began a decade ago as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I supported neurodivergent children, and adolescents through a wide range of evidence-based interventions for skill-building. Over time, I transitioned into supervisory roles providing coaching to families and caregivers through support groups and individual sessions. I also have experience with coaching young adults in residential programs, helping them navigate key areas such as social skills, life skills, academics, and career development.
Holistic Coaching for Life’s Challenges: Empowering Growth & Well-Being
Recognizing the need for a holistic approach, I earned a Life Coach certification from the Health Coach Institute. This certification allowed me to broaden my coaching practice to support any individual struggling with life’s challenges, beyond just neurodivergent clients. In my work, I have helped clients overcome challenges by improving work-life balance, learning how to navigate relationships, practicing effective communication, improving mental well-being, and strategies to improve self-care and self-worth.

How Katherine helped me through my social challenges is that when I was having tough times with friends I would go to her for advice and for help! She also taught me how to not be clingy when you are addicted to that person and just being me! Katherine has always been there for me whenever I was sad or not in a good mood.
