Lets talk about what its like sometimes to truly speak your truth and what you can learn about yourself in the process.

There are times where I find myself repeating the same things to the same people when it comes to their own evolution. There are times when things are so evident to us but not others. The veil hasn't been lifted, they choose to be blind, they fall victim to the cycles passed down by generations. In these times I do believe it is important to speak your truth and not censor yourself to make others comfortable. Part of accepting yourself and others accepting you, is accepting and expecting you to operate as your most authentic self. Of course there is a way to go about things and mindfulness is important but never to your own detriment. Keep in mind they may get defensive and refuse to see your point of view. Just remind them you act/speak out of love for them and if you did not truly love and value them you would stay quiet like most people do. This is not about minding your business. There are so many things going wrong in this world that just continue to be swept under the rug. Be a part of the change and be honest. Always be honest with yourself most of all. Make sure you are not speaking from projections. Be prepared to receive the same level of honesty as well.

If you find yourself in similar situations, say it. Say it and be there until you realize you don't want to anymore and at that point its important for YOUR health to separate yourself. Do not fall on your sword. It is not your job to fight other people for themselves. (UNLESS its your child then fight a good fight) but I say this because I love so hard that for a long time, I would tell myself that I would fight my loved ones for themselves. It can sound very beautiful, but it can also sound very draining and unnecessary. Then the question becomes.. why? Why do I feel so compelled to do so and knowing that they would not or not even know how to go about it for me? Why stay in a fighters mentality? So, I chose me, honest and authentic me. But also, peace.
